IRCTC Rail Connect
IRCTC Rail Connect is the official mobile app by IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited). With this app, you can book a railway ticket anywhere in India. This app provides facilities like booking train ticket, tatkal ticket booking, check PNR status, ticket cancellation, etc. Train search, train route search, seat availability enquiries can also be done using this app. The app is integrated with e-wallet facility along with other payment modes like BHIM/UPI, Net banking, Credit and Debit cards. By linking Aadhar card with the app, you can book up to 12 train tickets in a month.

UTS
UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) is an official app by Indian Railways to book unreserved train tickets. With this app, passengers can book railway tickets within ten minutes. UTS app allows passengers to book single-journey ticket, platform tickets and issue or renew season tickets.
Remember that booking through UTS app is not allowed inside train or within station premises to avoid ticket booking just by seeing TTE or TC. For booking of paperless ticket, user should be away from Station premises / Railway track.

National Train Enquiry System is an official app by Indian Railways Official to provide train running related and real-time status queries for all trains in India. The main features of this app are: train diversion information, train live station info, train schedule, cancelled or rescheduled trains, track trains between two stations, etc. This is a must have app for passengers using railways for daily commute, holiday vacation trips, official trips, tours, and all.
IRCTC eCatering - Food on Track
This app allows passengers to book meal of your choice anywhere in India. By providing your PNR number, you can search for meals available on your train-passing station. The app shows available restaurants on railway stations, meal price, etc to book from. Meal booking can be done with Cash on Delivery Option or paying through credit card.
CoachMitra
CoachMitra app provides facility to the onboard passengers to raise service requests by just entering PNR number and mobile number. The CoachMitra services include Toilet cleaning, Coach Cleaning, Watering, Linen/Bedrolls, Disinfectants, Electrical and Pretty Repairs. The app will forward the request to the onboard staff or the concerned control office of the particular train directly.
RailMadad
RailMadad app allows passengers to lodge complaints and enables them to check real-time feedback on the status of redressal of their complaints.

This app is for those customers who depend on railway to send parcels. This app facilitates customers to know current status of parcel, calculate approximate fare based on weight and scale of train, trains at station and trains between stations.
